1st Caudal Pole Course of the Exequiel González Cortés Hospital

On Wednesday, August 23rd, together with our clinical team, we participated in the 1st Caudal Pole Course of the Hospital Exequiel González Cortéswith focus on the diagnosis and management of children with caudal pole pathologies such as anorectal malformations and Hirschsprung's disease from an interdisciplinary approach, with the aim of providing tools for health professionals to identify early functional alterations in relation to the continence process associated with these pathologies.

Thus, Macarena Solo, pelvic floor kinesiologist; Paola Mella, psychologist; and Constanza Olivares, nurse coordinator; presented from their areas of work on the management of pediatric patients with anorectal malformation.

In addition, we had a MATER stand to inform about our work through the support of our General Manager, Carolina Castro, and Josefa Richasse, from our team.

We thank all the sponsoring organizations and companies that made this important activity possible for the health area.
